So, I have posted 5 blogs so far – perhaps not a huge milestone for most but a big one for me. I am really enjoying this space and sharing with you tips and bits to help your professional and personal life.

I spent the end of 2013 really analyzing my businesses and my personal life and working on a game plan for 2014. My personality is to jump into things with enthusiasm and optimism. However, I do plan out the attack once I commit to an idea.
For instance, I decided to open an online store in February 2013 and set a launch date six months later. It was a HUGE task but I did it! I believe we all have an entrepreneurial spirit and we are all trying to find balance in our lives. The best thing we can do is share what we learn with each other.
That is why I started this blog. The name was easy . . . Jane Told Me. My name is Jane and I am talking to you. On Mondays I share business tips, on Wednesday I share personal tips and on Friday I blog a hybrid of the two.
So when someone asks, “Who told you?” You can say, “Jane Told Me.”
I am a work in progress. My children are grown and I am now in a stage where I have time for other things besides cooking, cleaning and carpooling. I do believe with all my heart that managing my three wonders ( all born in 2.5 years) has helped me tremendously in creating goals and setting timelines and schedules. I have started two businesses since my youngest headed off to college and now I have this blog. Perhaps I have created three entities to balance as that is what I am used to! I just realized that!
My dream is be successful in my professional life and happy in my personal life. I read articles , books, watch webinars, videos and talk to other people out there. I look forward to the road Jane Told Me is taking me.
